Research
Scientific research plays an important role in further advancing SEIN’s position as a centre of expertise. This research will enable us to further improve the care we deliver. Our scientific studies are world renowned and every year we publish scientific articles about our results. We engage in research collaborations with national and international universities, hospitals and other healthcare institutions.
Researchers

dr. S. KalitzinUnderstanding HOW the brain works is just as important as understanding WHY it works the way it does. Only then we can comprehend both normal and pathological behavior.
prof. dr. M. Zijlmans"As a doctor, I want to understand what is going on, together with my patient, as best as possible and provide the best possible treatment. I also conduct scientific research into EEG biomarkers of epilepsy and supervise depth EEG recordings at the UMC Utrecht."
